Assessment: Service in which a behavioral health/substance use disorder professional will discuss needs, strengths, and problems. The assessment professional will offer suggestions and recommendations for treatment.

Individual sessions: Individual sessions focus on better understanding the problems related to substance use disorder and developing personal recovery skills to achieve the consumer’s treatment plan goals.

Insight Group: The Insight Group consists of six, once a week, two-hour group sessions focusing on the negative effects of chemical use and abuse, as well as other related information.

Intensive Outpatient Program: The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for those consumers who are chemically dependent on mood-altering chemicals. This program meets Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-8:30 pm at our Lisbon location. Successful completion is 16 sessions of IOP over a four-week period.

Aftercare Group: Aftercare group consists of eight, once a week, two- hour group sessions focusing on recovery skills learned in Intensive Outpatient Group or from Substance Use Disorder treatment completed elsewhere. The group meets every Thursday night from 6:00 -8:00 pm. Successful completion of Aftercare group is completion of 8 sessions over a three-month period. This group is available only at our Lisbon location.

R.E.A.C.H. Group: This group is designed to maintain sobriety by: R-renovate our lives, E-exchange bad habits for good ones, A-adjust our way of thinking, C-create a new perspective, and H-heal our body. This group consists of six, once a week, two-hour sessions. Successful completion is 6 groups over two months. This group is offered in our Lisbon and Salem locations.

Adolescent SUD Group: The Adolescent SUD group is a small group experience specifically tailored to meet the needs of adolescents (ages 14-17) who present with concerns related to substance use behaviors. This group is designed for those who have experimented with, are recovering from, or are currently using mind/mood altering substances (including nicotine). This group covers: Psychoeducation of Addiction, Peer Pressure/Social Connections, Triggers/Copings Skills, Mindfulness, Online Safety, Anger Management/Stress Reduction, and Relapse Prevention/Goal Planning. Entry into this group is by referral only. This group meets once per week for two hours.

Substance Abuse Mental Illness (SAMI) case management: SAMI case management services are available to consumers with both substance use disorders as well as severe mental health disorders. SAMI case managers assist consumers with developing and meeting treatment plan goals, linking consumers to needed services such as housing, social, peer, medical, basic living needs, and vocational services. SAMI case managers also help with crisis stabilization and offering support if needed for legal/criminal justice issues.

Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT): This service (based on the evidence-based practice of Motivational Interviewing) is designed for SAMI case management consumers. An IDDT multidisciplinary treatment team meets weekly to assess weekly needs and develop services to meet those needs for SAMI case management consumers.

Criminal Justice Services: The Substance Use Disorder Services program also provides assessment, counseling, and access to resources to inmates at the Columbiana County Jail. The goal is to meet needs of consumers while incarcerated and link them to services upon their release.
